Cannot drag sprite onto scene

I’m watching this Unity tutorial and at 13:46 in the video, he takes his sprite sheet and drags it onto his project scene, next to all the folders. I tried doing that and it shows the circle with the line through it. I also can’t drag the sprite onto the scene? Can anybody help? Link to video:
