Using a gage block stack up to measure the width of a slot or keyway. For anyone who feels inclined to comment about how I’m scratching them, you have a set of blocks that’s used in the shop and a set of blocks that you keep for the inspection and setup work. I’ve used mine for years and I’ve never damaged them to where they would not wring together.
