Leveling a lovely pine slab 2” thick, 8’ long on the TOTsled mill. Bora router, Amana RC 2261 2-1/2” router bit. Bench dogs and Kreg clamps hold the slab still. Shims under the high corners take the rock out of a twisted slab. Once one face is flat I send it through my planer flat face down. If you don’t have a big enough planer you could just flip the slab and level the other side to make the two faces parallel. Surfacing a large walnut slab on the CNC machine! I used shims with hot glue to hold the slab in place so we could get this first side flattened, it worked great!
