Why Your Fade Isn’t Fading. A fade starts with how the hands and body work through impact. In this lesson, we’re cleaning up a pattern of tilting back and “throwing” the club—moves that force a flip and make a true fade impossible. To hit a consistent fade, the hand path has to work more around the corner, and the body and pivot have to work left through the ball. When the hands exit left and the pivot supports the motion, the face and path relationship finally matches the ball flight we want. C
