The teaser image shows the training ship HMS Implacable in Hamoaze in 1900's. The old ship was once the French 74-gun ship of the line Duguay-Trouin launched in 1800. She participated in the last great sea battle fought under sail the Battle of Trafalgar, and the Battle of Cape Ortegal where she was captured by the Royal Navy. She became a training ship in 1865 surviving up to the end of WWII eventually becoming the second oldest ship in the Royal Navy next to HMS Victory. She was unfortunately

The world-famous HMS Victory is undergoing a massive restoration and conservation programme. Nelson’s flagship at the Battle of Trafalgar is being stripped right back and having all rotten wood removed. Forces News have been given exclusive access to the project, to see the progress being made. | Forces News

On the 21st October it was the 215th anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar. In 2009 HMS Victory was set up to simulate a 64 gun rolling broadside to help launch the National Museum of the Royal Navy.
